Nice to meet you!
I am Vanessa, a 38-year-old German, living in Switzerland near Zurich. Switzerland is a beautiful country and I really enjoy it here. I work in the Swiss Air Traffic Control and study Islamic Sciences and Egyptology in the University of Basel, so I love aviation and anything concerning the Arabic language and world. I wrote a thesis about mosque architecture, so I would love to see mosques around the world, too.

I am very interested in foreign countries and languages.
I prefer cards which show me something about your country.
I especially LOVE:

*TOURIST CARDS
*single or multi views and scenery of your city or country
*beautiful landscapes/nature/national parks
*historical or famous sights/monuments/temples/castles
*MAP CARDS
*mosques
*cards with the name of your city/country/state
*flags
*something typical for your country (native animals or people, recipes or pictures of food typical for your area)
*I love tourist cards with colorful trees/trees in bloom typical for your country, like cherry blossom in Japan, Jacarandas in Australia etc.
*Christmas Markets and city views during Christmas time
*air traffic control, aviation, airplanes, airlines and airports.... (as I received a lot of airplane cards recently, I would rather prefer any of the other options at the moment)
*cruise ships
*from China: year of the ox postcards or stamps
*or do you maybe have a card of my Favourites Album with cards that I would really love to receive?

I like to see or learn something about your country, get to know new places via postcards! :)
I'm not so keen on art, paintings, cartoons (unless it's a cartoon tourist card/map), very old/vintage, free/AD cards. If possible, please don't send those!!

If you write a bit about yourself, the picture on the postcard or something in your own language, that would be great!
