In another life, was a copywriter at an ad agency. Dabbled in graphic design and illustration and remains a frustrated painter (especially watercolor).

Briefly went into independent cinema (storyboard artist, director's assistant, photographer).

Was lured into corporate life -- in another country.

Returned home to help put up a welding school.

Now helping run an alternative clinic of sorts.

On the personal side: used to hike and do sports and stuff -- even got to fool round with martial arts (haiyeeah!).

Bum knees and hyperflexive joints caused by hybrid genes (mixed lineage) now keep me less active than I am used to (bummer!).

Caring for an elderly mother who remembers me (yay!) but not what day it is (er, who does?).

Have 1 dog and about 7 cats (depending on how many decide to come home for dinner).

Postcards: I love mail and will love any postcard you send me (with stamps, of course, but no envelopes and no ad cards, please).

A special request though: if you could manage it, it would be really wonderful to receive a watercolor painting postcard of an artist from your country.

You can write anything: something about the painting or artist. Or tell me something about yourself, your day, your username. If you're at a loss for words, perhaps you can paste a bus ticket, train ticket, candy wrapper, cigar brand/label ring (!) or something small on the card.
