I don't have strong postcard preferences - everything is great! but if you want some ideas:
- pieces of art, including photography
- something related to the place where you're from
- folklore and mythology
- nature landscapes + just plants, flowers
- space
- animals (especially illustrations by Louis Wain or children's books artists)
- vintage cards
- book illustrations

☹️ I don't like anything related to the war theme, and I also dislike AI generated pictures

📝 I sometimes write my address on the postcards I send. this is just in case something happens and the postcard gets lost, so the post could return it to me. I don't expect a return postcard from you (but you can send one if you want)

ABOUT MYSELF:
I live in Yoshkar-Ola, Mari El Republic. it's a beautiful place located on the bank of the Volga River, with a lot of magical lakes and forests and unique culture - Mari people are the last pagans of Europe, actually!

❗I stand against the russian invasion of Ukraine. war is terrible, and my heart goes for all people who suffered from it. I hope Ukrainians will have peace soon and return to their home ❗

this summer I've found a few signed ancient postcards on a flea market, where people would express their feelings for each other so sincerely and write so beautifully! i thought: "WOW, that is amazing, shame we don't have the excitement of sending postcards in our days" but turns out some cool people on this site still do, so I want to be cool too!!!
