Dear Postcrosser,

Thank you for dropping by! I'm Antoinette and I live in The Hague. I am a PhD-candidate at the university. I study the choices and interests of young people in school. I'm curious to see what subjects they like and dislike, and what they want to be when they grow up.

I love animals, books and art. And I love sending and receiving mail! I visit museums often and love to go to the movies. I love to go to the library, but I seem to be unfit to return books in time...

Before starting my research position, I was a primary school teacher, which I enjoyed very much. One particular part of it I enjoyed was teaching children how to write neatly. I still very much love beautiful pens and nice handwriting.

If you have any trouble figuring out what to write, I'd love to read what your favorite school memories are, what book you would recommend me and other things like that.
