I temporarily changed my status to "inactive" because at the moment I'm moving out from my parents' and have absolutely no time (nor opportunity) to deal with postcards :(

my name's Maria, I was born in cold Siberia about twenty years ago :)
I enjoy listening to music (and also love to sing), reading (lately I've been reading in English a lot), eating and watching tv-shows. I also dance lindy hop (go google it, it's great)
My fav tv-shows are Friends, Black Books, New Girl, IT-Crowd, House M.D., White Collar, Glee, the Mentalist, Bones, the 10th Kingdom, Community, Supernatural, Teen Wolf, The Big Bang Theory, Pushing Daisies and Queer as Folk (US). And Scrubs. and the Walking Dead. If you like any of them too - tell me about it! who is your favourite character or what is your favourite line. Any related cards are also appreciated!
I support LGBT rights despite the fact that I was grown in a rather conservative family. And that Russia has dumb homophobic government that doesn't give a damn about real problems but likes to come up with projects that only make people's life worse.

I love beautiful things. It can be a flower, a sofa, a box, a cucumber, a book or a seagull - everything, really - but if it's beautiful, it will warm my heart :)
I'm not into tourist cards (better see it with your own eyes), but will appreciate some stunning landscapes ;) mountain lakes are my favourite. and just mountains. and lakes.
other things that I'll be especially happy to receive are:

- XX century. anything - art, fashion, persons, technical advances, everyday life etc.

- black&white pictures, I like Eliott Erwitt, for example, or shorpy.com photos
- steampunk
- women in beautiful dresses. maybe some pin-up!

- cats
- also dogs - I like big dogs, especially sighthounds. and corgi! they are not big but sooo adorable
- my other favourite animals are mooses, deer, tigers, foxes, wolves and owls. and maybe elephants. and sloths :D
- and carps :3
- comics
- classic Disney movies. my favourite is Lion King. loooove Simba.
- Sesame street maybe? I like Cookie Monster.

- interior design. anything warm and cozy, or cool and stylish
aaand so on. though, you know, eventually it's up to you!

If you're struggling with what to write, tell me about some good things that recently happened in your life. it can be a small thing! just something kind and nice. Or tell me something about yourself. I love little details that are hard to notice, but with a close look they turn out to be precious.
