About Dorota...

Hello there...
My name is Dorota. I live in a small village in central Poland. I work in a library in a nearby town. I like books very much, so in my professional life I'm quite happy.
In my spare time I like... read (yeah i know very surprising).
I also like to drink coffee or tea with someone from my family or friends, go for a walk in the forest, play with a bunch of my nieces and nephews, go to the cinema or opera or museum, look at the night sky, listen to music (usually rock, classic or blues), watch DIY video with tons of things I will never do. You know, simple things like that...
I like to discover new places, try new flavors, hear new sounds, so traveling is a big part of my life (or reading about travels).
And here in a few words, it is me.

Now let's talk about postcards.
The easiest way to make me happy is to send me a postcard with a view from where you live. Introduce me to your country/city with this postcard. I prefer postcards from your country.
For those who like hints, here are some topics which I like exceptionally:

- landscapes (nice if there is a name of a city, region, state or country);
- autumn and winter scenery;
- castles, palaces, mansions, manor;
- something typical for your country, local folklore, national costumes, mythology and legends;
- roads (From USA especially Route 66);
- seashore and lighthouses;
- countryside;
- UNESCO sites;
- puffins, fox, lynx;
- Gotochi cards, shaped cards;
- Tausendschön cards;
- The Bremen Town Musicians by Rita Rassenhövel;
- Pettson and Findus, Winnie the Pooh, moomins, Cow Lieselotte;
- Christmas cards and postcards for other holidays celebrated in your country;
- night sky;
- Blue Cats World Trip;
- Thomas Kinkade, Anna Speshilova, Michael Sowa art.
You can also take a look at my favorites, there are postcards that I don't have yet.

If this is my first postcard from your country, please send me a tourist postcard.
Writing something in your native language will be a nice addition. And I appreciate the different stamps.

Happy Postcrossing for all of us! :)
