Hello!

I am Marcia, a 33-year old female from the Netherlands. I live in Eindhoven with my husband and baby boy. I got married about 2 years ago and became a mother last year, on both occasions I was overwhelmed by the amount of heartwarming cards we received. It was so much fun to receive other mail than just bills and other "grown-ups" mail! I heard about postcrossing a couple of years ago and it recently crossed my mind again, it felt like a good time to give it a go.

Some people would call me a workaholic but I actually enjoy being at work and am quite ambitious as well. I am a manager and enjoy working with people to help them develop and improve departmental processes to make everyting run smoothly and more efficient. Fortunately, I do have some time off to enjoy with my family. Besides that, I like to read, bake and play more strategic board games, being quite competitive there! I am also a huge fan of the TV show Friends and I saw every episode at least 5 times. In real life we even discuss things that happen to us and reminds us of specific episodes! Lastly, I am an enthusiastic traveller, from 5 star resorts in the Maldives to camping in Iceland with a tent, I love it all!

For me, it is always a challenge to find the perfect gift for family and friends and I will try to find the perfect card for you with the same eagerness! You would make me very happy with:
- Cards with rough nature on it. That is what we love the most on our holidays!
- Cards displaying snow and ice. I enjoy the winter and hope to visit Antarctica one day.
- Cards with characters of children's books of your country on it. For instance we have Nijntje, I am curious what you have..
- Cards related to old movies or cinemas. Every time we are on a citytrip abroad we try to see a movie in a small/old cinema.
- Cards with stars, starry skies or aurora borealis. At least once a year we get out of bed in the middle of the night to watch shooting stars.
- Cards displaying magic or illusionist tricks. Not sure whether that exists but I love to be surprised!
- Cards with (drawn) turtles or elephants. Turtles have been my favorite animal since I was a little girl and I just love elephants as well.

I would rather not receive animal photos, ad cards, selfmade cards, Christmas cards or cards with inspirational quotes on it. Please do tell me your story!
