About Ksenia...

Hi there!
My name is Ksenia. Currently I live in Moscow. I'm graduated from Moscow State University. My specialisation is art criticism.
I really enjoy theatre, painting, cinema, literature, poetry, music, vintage things, travelling, cooking & baking.

I'd be glad to receive all kinds of postcards. There're just some ideas:
- Illustrations from old books;
- Paintings, especially Byzantine, late Medieval, forerunners of Italian Renaissance (like Giotto, Lorenzetti, Cimabue, etc.), Nothern Renessance, Pre-Raphaelites, Impressionism, Post-Impressionism, Avant-garde, Expressionism, Primitivism, Suprematism, Surrealism, Abstract art;
- Medieval miniatures and frescos;
- Photography, especially sepia and black & white;
- Episodes of other cultures;
- Lomography;
- Vintage or old-styled postcards;
- Anne Taintor;
- Pictures of harsh Nothern nature;
- Movie frames & posters;
- Directors and writers portraits;
- Patterns and ornaments;
- Postcards with drawings;
- Signboards & neon signs;
- Beacons;
- Spices & herbs;
- Industrial pictures;
- Vintage fashion illustrations and photos;
- Old propaganda & advertising posters;
- Kitsch postcards. Everything that could be described as "it's so bad it's already good".

Please no advertising cards. Please no erotic/obscene/abusive cards. Please no pictures of sharks (extremely phobic!). And please don't put your card in the envelope (if you don't wanna send something in attach). Thanks for understanding.

And please-please write me something on the postcard (more than just "Happy postcrossing!"). Sometimes it can be even more important than a card itself, 'cause for me postcrossing is not a card collecting, but getting greetings from different parts of the world. I really believe in kindness of the stangers!
If you don't know what to write on a postcard, just tell me about your day. Have you seen or did something interesting? What you've been thinking about lately? Or maybe you have any good story from the past?
I'm keen on cooking so all your recipes are very-very welcome! Besides, I'd love to know what your favourite books and movies are.
Or answer one of these questions:
- If you could meet yourself as a child, would little you be happy with who you've became as an adult?
- I woke up from 100-years coma. Advise me one movie, one book and one song/album to let me know what happend with culture.
- If you were a documentary director, what would you make movies about?
- One day you woke up as a giant insect as Gregor Samsa in Kafka's "The Metamorphosis". What would you feel and do?

Anyway, the best thing about cards is finding them in the post box :) So every each postcard makes my day much better!

Thank you in advance and happy postcrossing!
