About Teija...

Hello there!

I'm 28 years old and I live with my boyfriend and our little "zoo". We have 2 cats, 2 dwarf rabbits and ~20 gerbils. I finished my carpentry studies on autumn 2007. I'm a lacto-ovo vegetarian (meaning that I'm not eating any meat but using milk and egg products) and a teetotaller.

I love playing video games (Final Fantasy, Tekken, The Sims 3, Monkey Island, Age of Empires, Silent Hill, Resident Evil...). I also like movies (Johnny Depp, David Spade, Owen Wilson, Jackie Chan, funny animations like Disney's, Ice Age & Shrek...) and various tv-programs / formats (House, CSI / CSI Miami / CSI NY, Big Brother, Survivor, Just Shoot Me...), music (mainly rock, metal and some industrial stuff - some of my faves are Miyavi, Moonspell, Amorphis, Entwine, Neuroactive, King Diamond, Sonata Arctica, Stratovarius, Helloween), drinking tea, sudokus, crossword puzzles, reading books (Rowling's Harry Potter!) and comics including some manga (Stan Sakai's Usagi Yojimbo!), piercings (have three myself), flea markets and so on. I like watching theatre plays too, but unfortunately the tickets are so expensive that it really can't be said as a hobby...

I like basically almost all kinds of cards, but touristical cards of your country / area / city (e.g. native animals, viewcards, multiviews, traditions, buildings [the weirder the better!], nature...), somekind of weird or funny cards, cards with children's book illustrations and all kinds of art cards are my favorites. What comes to art cards, I wish that the artist would be from your country / region or that the card / artist would be otherwise somehow related to it. Also all sorts of seasonal cards are welcome! :) If you happen to come across with a card that has a gerbil on it, I'd love to have that! There are lots of hamster cards etc, but no gerbils... We have ski-jumping hills & Lahti ski games held here in our city, so I will like cards of ski-jumping hills. Also, self-made cards would be great! :) But really, just send whichever card you like, don't get too serious with my wishes! :)

But please please please, write also something in addition to the postcard-ID on the card. Tell me about yourself, your day, what's in the card, maybe if we have (or don't have) any same interests, what music from your country you'd recommend to listen, which was the latest movie/book you saw/read and if it was any good... I don't know - just please tell me something in the card. :D

I would prefer a postcard to be sent without envelope, stamped and written on - just love having the stamp(s) and message on the card itself. :)
