Upd.: I am wholeheartedly against this damn war. I used to sincerely believe that humanity has matured, and any conflicts will be resolved without weapons and thousands of deaths. It is very hard for me to see how people are dying. I sincerely hope for peace.

Hello (: My name is Victoria. And I live in Russia, my city is not far from Moscow. I have a small black chihuahua. His name is Tyatya. He is very funny and likes to steal food from my table when I am not looking. My hobbies are collecting old books, coins and Starbucks mugs. I love cooking, especially Italian cuisine. Not long ago I started learning about folklore. So the study of tales absolutely fascinates me. My favourite seasons are winter and autumn. I love when it is raining or snowing. But most of all I adore the holiday atmosphere in the streets.

I love retro postcards, something about space, medicine, food, sceneries, folklore… You can even sprinkle the postcard with your favourite perfume. I’d be very glad. You can tell me some of your memories, write a recipe, say “hello” in your native language, tell interesting and funny facts about yourself or your country. If you have a pet, please, tell me about him/her. As a linguist I’d be glad if you choose some interesting idiom or word and explain me the meaning.
