About Sue...

Greetings from Canada!

Hello everyone! My name is Sue and I live in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, Canada. Our town borders Sault Ste Marie, Michigan in the United States, so we are formally known as the Twin Sault's! I live in Northern Ontario; we have all four seasons, with winter, unfortunately being the longest. Our district, which is called Algoma, is famous for it's fall colours, Provincial Parks, and beautiful natural surroundings. We are located right in the middle of The Great Lakes, so during the summer, it is a great place to swim and camp.

My cultural background is Italian. I used to be fluent, however have lost my tongue. I would love to relearn this beautiful language.

I am a teacher and a union leader. I love learning and being an advocate for our teacher members.

I love to read (although it is hard to find the time these days), learning about different cultures and traditions (which is one of the reasons that I joined Postcrossing), cooking (especially trying new recipes), travelling (aiming to make it overseas one day), shopping (I love makeup and clothes, and LOVE to find deals!), and spending time with family and friends playing cards, board games or drinking coffee and chatting!

I would like to receive postcards that show:
- Culture and life in your city & country
- Landscapes in your city & country
- Any recipe that you would like to share
- Historical Buildings/places other places of interest in your city & country
- Any kind of holiday card (Christmas, Valentine's Day, any special holiday in your culture, birthday card in February), or any card that you want to send (envelope, no envelope) it's up to you :)

I would love to hear about your daily life, hobbies, favourite food (maybe a new recipe or two), favourite books, songs, artists, unique aspects of your country and culture (please share some words in your language :)

I can't wait to hear from you!

Happy Postcrossing!
