Hello,

My name is Susan and I live in a town called Apeldoorn in the Netherlands. Apeldoorn is a city near National Park De Hoge Veluwe. A beautiful green area in the Netherlands. I moved to Apeldoorn in February 2020 together with my boyfriend Vincent and our son Tijn and cat Poekie. Hardly settled, Covid-19 kicked in. So now after three years I have not landed in Apeldoorn yet. We had to put our cat Poekie to sleep, and since a year we have a new furry friend. He is called Nemo and loves to chase the dogs in the neighborhood.
I studied law at the University of Utrecht and after my study I decided to stay and live in Utrecht.
When I started to participate Postcrossing I was making plans for a career change. I got my degree and became a para-veterinarian assistant and worked in a veterinary practice. After moving to Apeldoorn I wanted to make another career change. I have started to study to become a teacher. I have finished the first year and I'm now in my second year.
I like reading, Comics (Mutts from Patrick McDonnell and Maaike Hartjes) horse riding (every month I make a trip in the woods together with two friends and three horses), Australia, Animals, Cooking and eating (Italian is my favorite), Movies, British and Scandinavian detectives, Birds, walking in nature and traveling around the world and meeting new people and speak other languages. And most of all I love to send postcards and letters to my friends and family.

I like to receive postcards that you like for a special reason. It can be a card from your country, the city you live in, a country you like to visit, a museum, art, comic, book, or movie you like, one of your hobbies or animals or whatever you like to send me.

If you live in the USA and know where to find cards from Mutts (Mooch and Earl) I would love to receive one.
I also like art cards from China and Japan and if you see a card with a typical saying/word from your country, please send me.
Cards with comic figures from your country would also be very nice.
