About Silje...

First a little bit about myself: I got my masters degree in Organic chemistry this summer, and I am now taking a part time teachers course and substitute teaching even if I dont really think I want to be a teacher. I desperately want a job doing anything to do with chemistry. I love the UK and wish to move there some day. I dream of a house with a large garden where I can grow vegetables and fruit.

To me the backside of the card, where you write, is almost as, if not more important as the picture side, please write something for me to read, what you write about is not important to me. If you have no idea of what to write, tell me why you chose the card to send to me and how your day has been. Cards with only best wishes, happy post-crossing makes me sad for the card, as it seems like so much missed potential when the backside could be used to tell a story.

I have discovered through postcrossing that I love ad-cards! Please send me and ad-card if you have one! I also love Black and Whites, nature views, insects, animals, cards with all four seasons on one card basically anything out of the ordinary is perfect! I also welcome home-made, self-printed etc cards! All cards are welcome in my mailbox and each and every one of them bring a smile to my face!

If you have a card that you cant find the right reciever for: IT IS ME, send it to me please! I am sure I will love it!

I am not particularly fond of city views or other typically touristy cards, especially not multi-views. If you choose to send me a tourist card, please tell me on the back of the card why you like the place it shows and any special memories related to it.

Humoristic cards are also very welcome, as I find that a good laugh makes life better. I have weird humour, so if you find it funny chances are I will find it funny too. I will not be offended, if you are worried about the mail-man just put it in an envelope, however Norwegians are very open minded, and not easily offended.

PLEASE remember that this is only my wishes, and that you are absolutely free to choose to send whatever you want! I will enjoy each and every card that comes to me!

I register all postcards as soon as they arrive, but please feel free to contact me if a card has been travelling for a much longer time than normal.

Most of all:
Happy post-crossing to everyone, I hope you get to enjoy the experience of finding a postcard that you did not think you would like in your postbox and fall in love with it!
