About Florence...
Hello All ,
My name is Florence , I'm 50.I got up one morning and decided I had to find a web site specialized in sending and receiving poscards and ... Here I am !!!!
I 'm single .
I work in a company that sends furniture for hotels .
I like my cat , walking , museums ... .
Waiting for news about the whole World .
My preferences for postcards are
Landscapes or towns from where you live . It's the best way to choose my next trip !
But actually send any type of postcard,as long as this card pleases you too .
No one goes to a shop and buys cards thinking " oh it is so ugly that I must send it to a Postcrosser...."
A special thank to those of you who selected some of my cards as "favorites".I really appreciate .
Assumptions about expired cards :
I read on a Postcrosser's profile that (for her) if some of us don't like the card they receive ,they don't register it...
Well , if you are less than 5 (y.o), I can understand the frustration and the behaviour.
If you are older ( possible ???? ) : Take 3 long breathes , remember it is just a postcard and ... register it ( and if you are able to : Add thank you !)
This above is (of course) a joke!No one would do that ......
Sometimes you are sure that you registred the card , but you didn't .( It happened to me once , so now I check twice .)
Another assumption is that if the card never reached its destination , it is because on its way to "home", it crossed the way of someone who found it fabulous and decided to keep it .
As the main recipient does not know he will receive a card from you , he doesn't expected it, so it is not that important .
Or the card finally arrives , but it is a "traveller card" and it takes its time , so it is too late for registration.
For these reasons I decided not to ask for registration without card any more.
If some of you have other ideas about expired poscards ,I will be happy to share them .
Have a nice day !
Florence.
