Hey, my name is Ekaterina. Nice to meet you here :) I study linguistics at university, my target languages are Spanish and Mandarin Chinese. I also speak German, have learnt it because I like German music. My personal favourites are Kraftwerk, Deichkind, Feeling B and Nina Hagen.

I enjoy music of different genres from different countries. Recent discovery is Mari kusli music (check it out, it sounds heavenly). I would be grateful if you could recommend me music specific to your area. Also, I love art very much. My mother is the one who gave appreciation for it, her absolute favourite is the Brueghel family. As for me, I prefer the Italian Renaissance. My favourite Russian painters are Nikolai Roerich, Valentin Serov and Ivan Aivazovky. If you visit Saint Petersburg one day, I strongly recommend going to the State Russian museum, there you can find their paintings.

In my free time I like reading, watching k-dramas or just roaming the city. In August I moved to Saint Petersburg. The city is huge, I still cannot get used to it, but I like it in here, the atmosphere, the historic past, cozy places. Sometimes I feel like I am in a 19th century novel, majestic!
