I live just outside Toronto although commute into the city for work. My husband and I live in a lovely wee house with a big garden.

Activities I enjoy include reading (especially historical novels, Charlotte Bronte, Jane Austen, etc), gardening, travelling, hiking, biking, watching movies, knitting, sewing, paper crafts, and all things vintage.

I'm happy to receive any kind of postcard but would especially enjoy handmade cards, art cards, cards showing the beauty of where you live, historical sites, and vintage cards. I'd also love holiday cards at Christmas, etc., that show your cultural traditions or images. Also, I'd love to get a Moomin card.

Please feel free to share a favourite poem or quote, a book or music recommendation, or a story of something funny that happened to you. I would also like to learn a word or phrase in languages other than English.
