Hi,
I am from Riga, Latvia - a small and beautiful country by the Baltic sea. It is a place of rye bread, cheese with cummin, black balsam made of herbs since the Middle ages, delicious sprats in oil, tasty beer and cider, as well as the most northern place to grow vine and make wine. Indeed, we are gourmands here!
I travel a lot and try to visit new places every year. The one thing I bring from every place I go is a fridge magnet - soon I will need a new fringe if I continue like that:)
Filmmaking is my other passion. In my senior days I wish to own a small cinema theatre and exhibit old movies there.

What I like on the postcards:
-film posters
-production sets and paraphernalia
-old cinema theatres
-film stars, especially from Hollywood of 1920s and 1930s

-traditional ornaments or elements of clothing and accessories from your country

-strange buildings, vehicles or places (abandoned and forlorn)
