About Rebecka...

Hej!

I'm Rebecka, born in December in the sweet 80's in southern of Sweden. I'm also made out of some Finnish blood thanks to my dad. Kiitos!

I live in a house with my husband, toddler son (+ a baby on the way, Aug -23) and our 4 indoor cat boys who have a big patio outside that we built for them. I love our garden and the view we have over a big field where we spot a lot of different birds and wild animals. I also love to watch all the burgundy snails in the garden. I use to write numbers on them with a waterproof pen and keep track of them! Every year I'm planting a meadow in one area of our lawn for biodoversity.

I have been working with creating and making yearbooks for schools, as a telemarketeer, at a tattoo magazine, as a cleaner at a hospital. I have been to art school. I have a social worker degree. I recently worked for two years as a teacher's assistant for an autistic girl in upper school, plus I work hours at a locked psychiatric ward since 2017. Dreamjob? The psych ward, the morgue or taking care of injured wild animals.

Hobbies and interests then; Sauna!, nature, animals/insects - both taxidermy and alive, second hand/fleamarket, art, exercising at the gym or at the fight center, tattoos (I have 38), watching series and movies (indie, sci-fi, thriller, horror, film noir), 1000+ piece puzzles, documentaries, true crime, abandoned houses, do photo modeling, odd stuff, weird people with a good sense of humor, deep existential thoughts, ghost stories, nostalgic moments, sour beer, rusty stuff and industrial or Brutal architecture!

More tips of what theme to send:
- weird "tourist traps"
- cute animals, cats, corgi dogs
- naive art, fables
- folk tales, dreamy
- dark stuff, death, wiccan
- dirty, fetish
- old circus or sideshow
- krampus
- heavy machinery
- scary
- orthodox icons
- medieval, vikings, edwardian, rococo
- old photo
- prudent or plain odd and weird, butt-ugly too!
- Something that gives a great laugh or a great "hmm?!". :) That weird card you're a bit afraid to send to anyone really.
- Olga Suvorova
- If you want to send me a card in an envelope, I'll be very happy if you insert something else in there too that's from your city!
- Please write something more on your card than just "Happy Postcrossing". A riddle, your weirdest thought, a secret, a movie tip (or warning), a trick you can do, your favorite animal, odd facts, your fears, tell me about an embarrassing moment, your super power if you were a super hero, a list of whatever. Be creative! :)
- In nov/dec/jan I would be happy if I got halloween or christmas cards, or a birthday card.

- Please write the date on your card!

Still no clue of what to write or what card you shall pick for me? Pick the card nr. 21 in your pile of cards and let me know if you did so.

I'm so excited to hear from you, whoever you are, wherever you are, whatever you are.
