About Gratia...

I'm Gratia. Just another human with a life and interests and whatnot, currently very interested in postcards.
Free postcards, to be precise.
It's what I send, it's what I like to receive.

Ad cards, arty cards, cards with some kind of message about safety, health, or society, something odd, something common, local or global, anything.
Really, anything.
As long as it's a postcard you didn't spend any* money on other than the stamps, I'm happy.
Or not even that, if you're lucky enough to have access to free postcards with pre-paid postage. :)

Topic-wise I have no specific preferences.
However, no topic is off-limits, so feel free to send me something you'd probably not send unless people explicitly mention liking it. Political, gay/LGBT, clowns, military, religious, nudity, alcohol, tobacco, risqué, holiday or birthday cards outside the proper season, advertising so shameless, tacky, or boring it's almost sad...

Or you could send that most excellent and awesome card you found somewhere but hesitate to send because it's an ad card.

All are welcome, all will be appreciated.

If the card has any text, I'd love it if you'd translate it or at least give a general explanation, especially if it's a language I don't speak.

If it's not that easy for you to find free cards, I also like the idea of receiving bits of cardboard food packages cut to more-or-less postcard size like this: http://www.postcrossing.com/postcards/CA-133069. Or you could send me some other postcard-sized creation that costs you (next-to-)nothing to make, show off your talents.

---

When I send cards I take the receiver's interests and preferences into account and do my best to send a card I expect will be enjoyed. I have a pretty large and varied selection, ad and non-ad, so I usually had a hard time picking one out of the good few I would like to send :).

* Or much, really. A good few of the free cards I have were bought at thrift stores and therefore technically speaking not free to me, just intended as free by the issuer.
