Hi, there!

I registered in this service back in 2012 and actively used it for a little more than a year. After that, I gave up postcrossing. Now the year is 2021 and I decided to resume this hobby. I was lucky enough to remember the password from the old account, and reading the information about me was like a nice and warm jump into the past.

So, my name is Serj. When I started postcrossing, I was still in high school. I graduated from the university in the capital of Belarus, Minsk, with a degree in programming, after which I served in the army for a year. After, I moved to Moscow to live with my girlfriend. There I worked as a programmer and we lived in Russia for almost two years. At the beginning of this year, we moved back to Minsk and got married. Now I am web-developer in a large company and I am currently working on an international project of the American bank JP Chase

• I love music very much, but naturally my tastes have expanded considerably. Among the genres I would single out post-rock (Mogwai, God is an Astronaut, This Will Destroy You, GY!BE, Mono), chaotic hardcore (Converge, TDEP, The Chariot, The Armed, Norma Jean), deathcore (Emmure, Thy Art Is Murder, Cult Leader), post-metal (Rosetta, Isis, Cult of Luna, The Ocean), post-punk (Interpol, The Cure).It would be cool to get a postcard about your local music band. Please, write down on postcard your 'song of the day'!

• Books: William S. Burroughs, J. Noon, S.King, H.P.Lovecraft, C.Palahniuk, I.Welsh, Song of Ice and Fire, Dune, The Dark Tower.

• I like everything from World of Warcraft universe (for the Horde!), playing BC Classic right now.

• Movies: Stanly Kubrik, Quentin Tarantino, Yorgos Lanthimos, David Lynch, Martin Scorsese, Denis Villeneuve, Lars Von Trier.

• TV series: South Park, Futurama, Friends, The Office, The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Lost, Dexter.

• Anime, manga, Ito Junji and all about Japan. Favourite ones: Gintama, Cowboy Bebop, Berserk, Darker Than Black, Ergo Proxy, Evangelion, Technolyze, Zankyou no Terror. Also I am a big fan of Hayao Miyazaki.

• I also like dark, scary themes for a postcards: skulls, horror and other stuff. Be brave to send me type of cards, that you never will send anyone else.
