Hi,
I'm Maja and live in a southern part of Poland. I'm interested in foreign languages (in particular in Japanese and Chinese, so any postcards written in those languages will make me extremely happy! But please, mind that I'm a beginner, especially when it comes to Chinese...). I love exploring new cultures, I'm open-minded (at least, I hope so!) and one day I'm going on an adventure (just like Bilbo Baggins, but I won't wait for Gandalf :D)! Right now, I'm still at school and I'll take my exams in May 2015, so I can study Japanese philology at the university.

I'm not picky, but cards I don't generally enjoy include:
- AD cards
- multi-view cards, with lots of tiny pictures
- self-made cards
- 3D cards
- Christmas cards (unless it's Christmas time)
- commercial or advertisement cards.

Some of the things I particularly enjoy include:
- beautiful landscapes
- views through windows
- SHERLOCK (with Cumberbatch etc. :D)
- everything connected with J. R. R. Tolkien
- black and white pictures
- graphics connected with books (e.g. "Alice in Wonderland")
- interesting buildings
- cities at night or while the Sun is rising
- old books, libraries
- trees
- universe (The Moon, stars, etc.)
- shots from some 'classic' (known for a wider audience) movies that were shot in your city (e.g. "Roman Holiday")
- paintings of your national painters that you're proud of (I love postcards from museums!)
- postcards somehow connected with music (especially rock&roll, blues, jazz, country).

The words on the back are as important to me as the picture on the front, so please write something about yourself (what interests you), or the place where you live. I think that just "Happy postcrossing!" is completely missing the point of this project, don't you think?

You don't need to bother about envelope.
Special stamps are always an extra joy for me.
