Hi! My name is Annie, and I am 25 years old. I was born in China, moved to Canada when I was 8, and now I study in Europe as part of a co-supervised PhD student between France and Belgium. Confused yet? When asked who I am or where I'm from, I usually just say I'm Chinese and from Canada. Simplifies things a bit :)

I love travelling, writing, photography, singing, and cooking. Even though I am a scientist (my PhD is in biomaterials engineering) sometimes I think I ought to be in the arts. Then again, I think science and art complement each other and both make the world a little more beautiful!

Since I'm in Europe now, I am taking full advantage of the ease of travelling, so if you're somewhere in Europe and want to suggest places to visit in your country or city, please let me know!
