Hello 👋🙋‍♀️😀!

My name is Silke and I am a German socialworker.
Through my work I get in touch with lots of different persons from different nations.

We live in the mid-west of Germany in a town called Castrop-Rauxel, situated in the Ruhr Valley. Our neighbour citys are between others Bochum and Dortmund which you might know because of the soccer club "Borussia Dortmund"...but my favorite club is VfL Bochum

Ever since I was a litte child I've loved to send and receive postcards. It's like a mental visit to the country and area the postcard comes from or the place and person I'm sending the postcard to.
I am looking forward to send a card to you.

You are going to send one to me? That´s great!!! I´m looking forward to get it. :D (If possible,) please tell me something about you, your life, your city and/or what is shown on the card or why you choosed that one.
As much as the picture of the card I like to read your words. The more you write the better :)

My absolute favorite subjects for the pictures are:

-> scenes of daily life in your country, showing for example people on a market, children playing, people at work, -having a rest/chilling, -celebrating typical festivals or traditions, -travelling, -cooking, -wearing typical clothes....

but also I like very much:
-> typical landscape views of your city or country
-> city views of your city or country
-> birds living in your country

You don´t have such postcard? Don´t worry at all!!!
I´ll be happy about whatever you´ll choose to send to me. :) ...ok, just no season greetings card (Xmas, Easter, birthday etc.) please. I'm sure other postcrossers will be happy to get it.
