Hello,

My name is Shanshan. I'm a Taiwanese photographer, perfume collector, metal band vocal, Chinese opera junkie, and an illustrator wannabe.

I am interested in history, theater, traveling, reading, writing, movies, music, nature, animals, architecture, ancient civilizations, UNESCO world heritage sites, fashion (especially menswear and haute couture), and fine arts--ancient Greek sculpture, medieval / Gothic religious paintings, and everything Baroque / Rococo / Pre-Raphaelite / Art Noveau / Art Deco.

When I'm off-duty, I enjoy spending time with my pet. If there is time to spare, I take pleasure doing research on Pre-revolutionary France and Edo-Period Japan for my novel projects.

It'd be really nice if you could write a little something on the postcard. You can write about any topics, yourself, your country, your hometown, your current mood, your favorite food, music you like, movies you recommend, anything. Of course, there's no need to go into personal details if you don't want to. A brief, general introduction is all I'm hoping to read.

That said, all kinds of postcards will be wholeheartedly appreciated, with or without writing. What you choose to send me is completely up to you. I'm sure I'll like whatever you send for the fact that you are kind enough to send it across the globe to a total stranger. Can't wait to see what you've got for me! :)
