Hello, my name is Serena. I live with my husband and my baby daughter in a seaside town near Rimini.
My English is not very well, but I would like to improve myself, even with the Postcrossing! ;)

I mostly worked as an archaeologist in my native region (Emilia - Romagna). I studied for several years in Ravenna and at the University I dug in Sicily (Italy) and Samarkand (Uzbekistan). For this reason I know a little Russian, but it is many years that do not read or speak .. maybe the revision a bit with some of you!

Now I'm a tourist guide and tour leader in Italian and English. I love dealing with cultural heritage of my territory and traditions of my landscape.

I love reading, especially novels, essays, biographies and fairy tales; I like to compare myself on the readings and receive suggestions.

Always love picture books, even more now that I'm Mom. I admire those who draw well freehand, any type of design, also because I am not very capable! I love Peanuts and Snoopy..

My biggest passion is Cultural Heritage: archaeology, history, natural landscapes, museums and artists of all time. I would like to receive postcards outlining the cultural beauty of faraway places, as if I were traveling with my mind up to it.
