About Karina...

Dear reader and writer of postcards,

I grew up in a small village located in the mid-western countryside of Germany. Nothing very famous or special around here, except the fun fact that a lot of people in this area used to work as diamond cutters back in the old days. Now I am rarely there, since I spent the past year or so mostly traveling and volunteering in different countries. I just came back from 3 months living and working in Morocco.

What else about me? I am a female, in my 30s, a graphic designer, passionate about traveling and living a simple life. I love to move my body, to spend time outside to be in nature even when it rains and to watch the stars at night. Water is my element, I am happy the most when I am close to the ocean. I care about animals, the environment and human rights. I try to have an impact on the world by starting with changing myself. I like to develop new skills and to learn and experience new things (at the moment I am learning Spanish whenever I have a free minute).

Here are some more things I am interested in, not in any particular order...
* graphic design, illustration, typography & art
* vintage photography
* vintage maps
* inspirational quotes
* traveling & other cultures
* yoga & spirituality
* surfing & windsurfing
* music & books
* diy & handcraft
* cooking & eating delicious food (veggie, vegan, raw and simple)
...

Feel free to pick a card that YOU really like (would be happy to read on the back in 1-2 sentences why you like it so much) and that represents your country or shows something typical. If you would like, you can answer the following question which has been accompanying me for while now during my travels: What makes you come alive? I would love to hear your take on it!

I am so so looking forward to hearing from you!

All the best,
Karina

PS: Your card will arrive at my parent's house in my old hometown as I don't have a permanent address at the moment. They will be happy to keep them for me or pass them on to me while I'm gone.
