About Seetha...

I am a brand spanking new Post-crosser looking to exchange not just postcards, but bundles of happiness and love (or any other emotion really- anger and lust is not considered any less of an emotion just because its less "out there for the world to see") via the written word. I am essentially your typical ENFP; loud, direct, dramatic, emotional, passionate, slightly obnoxious but yet friendly and happy human person thing. I may also display varying level of postcard-social-awkwardness.

My hobbies include reading classics, literary blogs, and sometimes science journals. I also enjoy Skype. I enjoy movies; all kinds, especially Tarantino, Scott and Fincher. I write a journal religiously, because I am not the type that documents using a camera. I don't own a smartphone, tablet or any internet surfing interface aside from my notebook. I am also into languages, I am currently learning German, but I would like to learn a lot more, namely Dutch, Russian, Italian, Mandarin and Arabic. It may be idealistic, but I have time, patience and resources. If anyone else can, then wwarum nicht? (:

I spend a lot of time contemplating our existence and purpose, where we came from and the different religion's theories on how we came to be. I am not religious, but I do have faith. Just not particularly sure where to channel that faith. I like talking to others about our different views on where we came from and I don't take things to heart (rather, I get over things easily) and this makes me a great candidate for discussion, because I have an open mind, am not afraid to admit defeat and can reason. While some may say I'm spineless (sometimes I think so too), I think life is better enjoyed with openness, rather than stick-up-ass mentality.

I'd like to be a doctor one day, specialising in genetics and/or infectious diseases. I'm a firm believer in humans causing more destruction than harm, and would rather spend my life rectifying our mistakes, than enjoying it for the short time rush. Joining the UN, helping people who need help, speaking up for animals... Humanitarianism is high on my list of Seetha's Life Purpose.

My personal goals, aside from learning languages, travelling and writing, is to make my own hourglass (one that runs for an entire hour, mind you), and learn to survive like Robinson Crusoe.

I have never really been into the art of postcards, I have to admit. Looking for exquisite ones as well as decorating it to personalise it will be something I will have to come to learn from experience, which I am sure to get a lot of here.

I do however, absolutely love stamps! I don't collect them on an album, but they do fascinate me a lot more than the postcard itself sometimes.

I like scenery (lushes green and violent waterfalls), farm animals, desolate architecture, cultural festivals, fish and anything peculiar to be presented on the postcards/stamps.

Write me with an open mind and heart, and I promise to do the same.

p.s. I really love drinking tea.
