Hello!

My name is Samar (pronounced like the season 'summer'). I am 28 years old and live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada with my husband. [GO RAPTORS GO]

I am a college professor and teach legal and administrative studies. I love my job and my students, but in my free time I absolutely love reading. I am currently reading "The Historian" by Elizabeth Kostova and "Thinking Fast and Slow" by Daniel Kahneman.

I also love to travel, especially for conferences. I recently went to Halifax, Nova Scotia and Boston, Massachusetts. I am going on my (delayed) honeymoon to Spain, Portugal, and Morrocco later this year.

Finally, some of my favourite things in the world are learning about dinosaurs, looking at variations of maps, road trips, meeting new and old friends over coffee...or just having coffee alone - I LOVE coffee.
