I love learning about the history of art in different countries, and enjoy finding out about new artists or art movements. In my own spare time I enjoy painting and drawing, as well as other crafts like embroidery and knitting. I like seeing examples of traditional crafts from around the world. In 2015 I visited a Bedouin camp, and saw some beautiful traditional embroidery work.

I have an interest in languages and their roots. My name is a word in the Old Irish language, meaning goodness or innocence. If your name means something in your language, I'd love to know. I'm interested in proverbs and folk sayings from different countries also. Is there a piece of wisdom passed down through generations in your country?
