G'day I'm Laila

I'm lucky enough to live on the Gold Coast in Queensland. Sun, surf and beaches.

I love the outdoors, hiking, camping fishing and swimming when I can. I also love to read and write. I've only recently moved back to the Gold Coast, I used to live in the Northern Territory, where there was only two seasons, dry and monsoon. I am getting used to rain again at any time of year. There is nothing I like better than walking, fishing or just splashing about in the warm rain.

I like most kinds of postcards. Especially those depicting your hometown or things of interest there. Waterfalls and storms, anything showing your natural world. If you live in the city, then that's your natural world!

I am beginning to appreciate Art Nouveau, and vintage style postcards - pin up girl and nudes.
