I am a photographer living in Nova Scotia Canada.
I love the concept of sharing post cards.
I enjoy receiving postcards from around the world. I imagine you do as well or you would not be reading this about me... :)
Please use commemorative stamps from your country if given a choice. If you could send the postcard in an envelope, I can keep and safely remove the stamps for my Daughter, and grandson, but if you don't have an envelope handy, no worries...
I've received many from Japan, and I love this collection: "Mailbox card".
They are called "ポスト型はがき" in Japanese...
We are a family of Postal employees... we appreciate cards with Postal vehicles, Post Boxes, Post Offices, Mail boxes on homes or on the street from around the world! If you would like to say hello to our letter carrier above our address, his name is David :). I am sure that would make his day. :)
I also like to receive postcards with lighthouses from your areas... Thank you for taking the time to read and try and fulfill my requests.
I am retired from the post office and work at my photography full time. I live with my wonderful husband in a quiet town between Halifax and Lunenburg. I am forever grateful for my 3 grown children and 5 lovely grandchildren.
The area of Canada that I live in is Nova Scotia on the Atlantic side. This area is known as the Christmas Tree Capitol of the world!
Also near us is Peggy's Cove... one of the most photographed lighthouses in the world is on Peggy's Point. You might have heard of this beautiful place. It is very enchanting to visit.
Our weather is warmer on the Atlantic coast rather than inland, this is attributed to the Gulf stream.
I love to share on Facebook the great cards I receive. If you could scan the images that would make my day. I understand if you don't have a scanner handy. Lately I am getting less and less cards that have been scanned :(
PS... if you would like to see some of my photography...
