Vancouver is a beautiful city, with many beaches and a very modern downtown area. The mountains are only 20-30 minutes away by car, so plenty of skiing in winter right on our doorstep. It's truly multicultural here and we all get along well, celebrating our diversity and learning from one another about our traditions and way of living.

I prefer cycling over driving, and walking over jogging. I like collage, gardening, reading, knitting and crochet. I never watch television, but listen to many podcasts every day, downloaded from radio stations around the world, mostly the excellent BBC.
