Hello! My name is Roland, I live in Utrecht with my wife and two cats. I currently work as a software engineer in a small company.

Besides computer science and postcrossing, my interests are landscape and architecture photography, and discovering interesting places around the country. I really like travelling, in The Netherlands as well as abroad. In Utrecht, there are a lot of places where a tourist would never come. I always like to visit places where no tourists ever come, because those places are often nicer than all the stuff tourists already go to!

I think Postcrossing is a great way to discover places around the world. Of course, I will be happy with any card you send me. You can make me really happy if you send me a card showing where you live! I prefer viewcards and cards with multiple pictures on it. Have a look at my favourites, so you can get an idea what I mean.

It would be nice if you can write some words in your own language. I can read the Cyrillic and Greek alphabets, so don't hesitate to use that if applicable. Please write in English, or Dutch, French or German if you like!

A few things I would appreciate:
* Please send real postcards and no ad-cards, Christmas cards or hand-made cards.
* Please date your cards!
* Please don't put the card in an envelope, because it is more fun to have the stamp on the card :)
* If you have some interesting stamps, I would be very happy!
* Please write more than just "happy postcrossing", write something about yourself, the postcard, ...

I will register a received postcard promptly. Since I have a full-time job, it is not always possible to register a card on the same day as it was received.

I hope to collect a very beautiful set of cards from all over the world!
