I'm a citizen of the world, educated, a (post)modern young thing... and at the same time a bit of a traditionalist: I love sending and receiving things by mail, especially when they're hand-written; cooking - which I love to do from scratch: making stock, pastry, fillings, stuffings and so on - and eating (nothing very 'modern' about that :-) and making music, instead of (only) listening to what's produced by others.

So taking all this into account: I welcome with an open mailbox whatever you choose to send from your corner of the world. (Let's play our own small part in confronting, and staring down, those things about our world which make us anxious and of which we are ignorant - we need more cross-cultural engagement, not less!) Be it a personal creation or a purchased postcard, please make it beautiful, interesting, thoughtful, quirky, joyous, and I promise to treasure it and put it up on my postcard walls (both real and virtual).

That said, I would particularly love to receive cards that show something that is personally meaningful to you (and perhaps you can tell me why that is so in your message?), images of women from your country or pictures with musical themes (I'm a choral singer, but don't let that restrict you!).
