Dear Postcrossers!
My daughter has been a postcrossig member since nearly ten years. I also like to send and receive postcards - so she showed me how to ...
I´m living in a small town near Cologne. It´s not the nicest, but I like to get by train to Cologne or the "Eifel" (nature) in less than an hour.
I like travelling especially in the outdoors - not only far away but also close to home. This summer for example I walked the rota vicentina in Portugal. But sitting in a café in the town wherever and watching people is lots of fun as well.
At home I spend a lot of time in my garden, it`s full of flowers especially herbs, because I like the smell and I like cooking.
What else do I do? Read books, watch films (sometimes even in cinemas, my favourite film genres are Science Fiction, Western, Superheroes, "Drama/Fate/Emotion"), listen to music (first of all going to concerts). My nickname is not only inspired by my love for concerts, because also a famous festival in Luxemburg is called Rock a Field, but also by my love for hiking and caring (working!) for my garden.
Sitting here and writing, I came to realize that postcrossing is also good to improve my English:)
I`m not only looking forward to get nice postcards but also getting to know something about you.
I have no preferences about the postcards, I like nature, flowers, trees, stones, interesting architecture, science-fiction, drawings, recipes without meat, humour ... I´m not so happy with seasonal cards like christmas or easter. But it doesn`t matter. Like to hear something from you.
