About Recto...

Hello, はじめまして, kamusta, saluton!

So, my name is Rec and I want to learn the world through postcards. I'm a young adult currently studying education in a local state uni. On my free time, I occasionally read, write, and game. I am also learning different languages for fun and as a way to discover language education. Currently, I am mainly learning Japanese with some Esperanto. The wonderful thing about postcards is that you have something that was a part of the place it came from. It is great to be part of the postcrossing community! Happy postcrossing!

To share more about me, I am currently writing a novel for fun. I barely finished it as I keep rewriting since high school. I like playing online games from Riot, especially the League of Legends franchise. I am hard stuck silver on PC but emerald on mobile haha. I do play other games as well, mainly RTS, open world games, and rhythm games. In the literature I read, I tend to read a lot of Japanese light novels and manga. I generally prefer stories with comedy sprinkled on it and deep emotional sections. Recently, I finished these beautiful two-part novels "To Every You I've Loved Before" and "To Me the One Who Loved You". I would suggest reading them as these are great piece of literature full of symbolism and figurative language.

What postcards I want to receive:

Just send me any design, anything you have in store for me! It could be store bought or something you've made wholeheartedly. Do surprise me with what you're thinking off right now. I would be happy to wait and see what part of you and your country arrives on my doorstep. I also love reading messages on postcards, so don't hesitate to write me anything. It is up to you what you want to write, and I don't mind what it is. It could be something about the postcard, or a rant you want to release.

Also, if you plan to send fragile postcards such as those made of leaves, don't send it as is. I would suggest packing it in an envelope for safety.

P.S: I would like to thank JasGo for the postcards she gave me on my birthday!

Message to senders: Bear with me as my country's postal administration is super slow. Expect your postcard to expire before I can register it.
