My name is Kate, now I'm young master of psychology. I work as an English teacher for adults. I think it's more psychological than educational job. I'm also interested in social and political psychology and I investidate national identity in the context of psychological well-being.
I'm fond of medieval stuff: songs, culture, reconstruction, costumes and so on. I also play a bagpipe, recorder and hurdy-gurdy in a band named "Caput Draconis". We play hard medieval folk music on bagpipes. In October 2013 I started to attend lessons of playing cello. It's much harder but I like difficulties so I have more pleasure playing this instrument.
I love reading! I love it so much that I can't fall asleep untill I read about a half of hour. My favorite writer is Vladimir Nabokov. I am very proud of fact that I've read all of his books :) I also like books written by Isaac Asimov, Michael Bulghakov, Frank Herbert, Terry Pratchett, Stephen King, Irvin Yalom and so on.
I can't imagine my life without hand-made. I like knitting, sewing, drawing etc. I think it's a good way of recaxation and of making really good presents for my friends.
I'm also interested in different kinds of transport: buses, trams, trolleybuses and espetially unterground (or subway, or metro). My favorite underground is London Tube, I miss it so much! As a hobby I study history of different subways of the world. I also have a big collection of tickets, underground maps and other transport stuff.
