Hello everybody!
I started the my postcrossing career 2013 with my two sons, who were then 7 and 9 years old. They wrote all the cards by themselves, but I helped them to read profiletexts and bought cards and stamps. Boys sent and received over 3500 cards in seven years. They got not only many great cards, but also other wonderful surprices, like tractorphotos, calendar, stickers etc. I really want to thank every lovely person, who delighted boys! Now my sons are busy with their studies and other hobbies. They don't live at home all the time anymore and have no time for postcards. But I'm missing colorful and happy cards in our mailbox, so I decided to continue this interesting hobby by myself.

I live countryside on lake Saimaa and like gardening, picking up berries, cycling, cross-country skiing, swimming, canoeing and reading books.

It would be lovely, if you write something interesting to me. It could be some facts of your place: history, culture, nature... Or tell me about your favorite book, food, clothes, hobby, what do you eat for breakfast/lunch... Because I've studied linguistics, I'm very interested in names and origin of words. If you want, tell me the meaning of your (or your pet's) name or story, why do you have exactly that name.

Any kind of beautiful and interesting cards are welcome, but if you need some tips, I like especially:
- berries, fruits, vegetables
- Snoopy
- books, literature, language
- history and culture of your place

The favorites of this profile are favorite cards of my sons😄 If you have time and want, please check received cards to avoid duplicates.

We are 14 and 16 years old brothers, Aku-Pekka is the older and Ahti the younger one. We are schoolboys and like many kind of sports and tractors, harvesters and other vehicles. We learn English and Swedish at school, so this hobby is a good way to practise new skills.
It's exciting to get postcards, especially we like cards with
- tractors, harvesters, lorries, cars, forwardes or other vehicles (you can also make this kind of card yourself, just cut vehicles from magazine and glue them to cardboard)
- Disney-characters (Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse & co.)
- Tom & Jerry, Pink Panther, Simon's Cat, Blue Cats
- animals (especially CATS, fishes, dogs, squirrels and birds, but please NO snakes)
- sport (especially football and ice hockey)
- Harry Potter
- Lego
- Snoopy

And if you want, you can send birthday cards to Ahti in March and to Aku-Pekka in April.

You can also draw some vehicles to us if you can!

But please you don't have to apologize if you don't have a card from our favorite list, we like many other cards too! :)
