About Eléonore...

Hello everyone !

I'm Eléonore, I work a primary school teacher to kids with disabilities / special needs in France. I used to do postcrossing years ago, but deleted my account. This is a fresh new start, I guess :D

If I didn't register your card in 30 days, please feel free to send me a message, and I will register it. If you can, could you scan the postcards you send me ? Thanks a lot :D

I would love to learn more about your country, and especially the area you're living in... So feel free to tell me about a local habit, your favorite national/local author/artist/musician etc... I love to discover new things :D

If you're a teacher too, I would be very happy to continue postcrossing/penpalling outside of this site once one of us sent their postcard. Of course, I will be happy to receive any postcards :D

I like :

- National/local painters, photographers, sculptors etc... with a full reproduction of one of their work, if possible one you like a lot :D Please no street art, no Banksy type art.

- I love Akseli Gallen Kallella, Navitrolla, Frida Kahlo, Kenojuak Ashevak. I like abstract painting, Inuit art (especially prints) and children books illustrations.

- I love geometrical patterns, whether it be in art, architecture, fabrics, design etc...

- If you have postcards with numbers : representing dates, weight, sizes, money, hours, unspecified quantities etc... I try to link maths to the everyday life of my students, so having examples from other countries would be great !

- Local recipes, even if they are in your native language, or just a picture of it. Maybe just translate the dish name in the text ^^

- Humpback whales <3 (please no dolphins, beluga, killer whales) and other whales too.

- Historical places

- I love close up pictures.

- Stained glass (both ancient and contemporary) and religious places, especially architectural details (stained glass, ceilings, benches, bowls, carpets etc...).

I know this list looks very specific, but feel free to send me anything you think could be relevant :D

Happy postcrossing to all of you :D
