Hello!

My name is Quincy and I am 9 years old. I live with my mother in a small town in the Netherland. My father passed away when I was almost 3. We have 2 cats, 2 rabbits and 1 hamster. I really love animals; all kind of animals! But my favourite are dinosaurs. 🐊 Unfortunately, they don't live anymore... ;-)
What I like most is going to school! 😍 We learn English in school and that's why I like to be active on "Postcrossing". So I can learn even more englisch!
I'm very eager to learn about almost everything in the world and about the world. And about the space. What I like to do is make powerpoint presentations about all the interesting things I read about in books or the internet, about all the things I heard about or have experienced. I like history very much, but I also like to dream about the future. I also like drawing, crafts and tinkering, playing outdoor and I like to cycle.
My mother and I love to make daytrips in the Netherlands by train. We go to all kinds of museums, to the beach or the zoo. Or just sightseeing in a nice city. There is always something new to discouver!!!
I've been for the first time to Switzerland this summer and I loved it soooooo much! I wish I could live there and climb mountains every day and enjoy it's nature and animals!
When I am older, I want to be a worldtraveler and help and save endangered animals. But also help people who live in poor countrys or people and animals who need help because of nature disaster.
What makes me realy sad, is that so many people don't seem to care for our world and treat animals and nature so badly.... 😢 Particularly all the plastic waste in the oceans, that make the water animals ill or even kill them! I hope I can find a solution for this, so the world and animals get a better future.
I really like postcards with animals, mountains/ cards of Switzerland, angels or very funny ones. I also like of when jou write something in your own languages, and trasnslate of info English. So I can learn even more! 😄😄😄
