About Eileen...

Hello fellow postcrosser(s)!

My name is Eileen and I'm a self-employed 31 year old from northern Germany.
Greifswald - the town I live in - is most famous for painter Caspar David Friedrich and soccer player Toni Kroos. :)
My user name, Quickbeam, is a reference to one of the younger Ents in The Lord of the Rings, who was also known as Bregalad.

I'd really like to get postcards related to:

- popcultural things/artists/paintings/fairy tales/cartoons from your country/region
- Robin (the bird)
- for U.S. postcrossers: the U.S. State Birds and Flowers cards, the ones I've got so far are:
--- New York (Eastern Bluebird & Rose)
--- Rhode Island (Rhode Island Red & Violet)
--- Virginia (Northern Cardinal & American Dogwood)
- Dragon Ball
- Lord of the Rings
- Harry Potter
- Star Wars
- Final Fantasy
- Warhammer
- The original 151 Pokémon (Kanto region; especially Bulbasaur)
- Studio Ghibli
- Alphonse Mucha
- Lomography
- cards similar to my favorites (my favorites are cards I received and enjoyed a lot)
- anything postcrossing related - meetup cards, cards of stamps, mailboxes, stationary, ...
- vintage postcards/postcards of vintage ads

but I guess I'm fine with any postcard you'll pick out for me. It would be nice if you could avoid sending me advertising cards, selfmade cards, folded cards, or tourist picture postcards - the ones with the name of a city/region and several photos, though.

Here are a few prompts if you've got a writer's block:
Tell me about your day, your favourite movies, recipes, books, authors, paintings, fairy tales, games, about your best day so far, something embarrassing you experienced, your favourite place (even if it's private, I won't tell anyone), or your favourite quote or proverb in your language and translated into english.
If you don't feel like writing, you can always draw something (or stick it down after you've drawn it on another sheet of paper), or make a collage of stickers, magazine cuts etc.

If your postcard is from a meeting and a collection of postcrosser's stamps (from a meetup), please let me know which one of them you are or put your name - I'd like to thank you personally for your card.

Happy postcrossing!
