About quentariel...

Hi, nice to meet you!

I'm a twenty-something young woman (who still calls herself as a girl, because woman just sounds too mature). I live in a southern coast of Finland, in a beautiful old culture town Turku. Most of my time passes in University, where I study Comparative Religion, Art History and Classic Literature. To get money for living and studying, I work as a part-time waitress in a local fast-food restaurant. With the little free time I have I love to read and do everything art and craft related.

I also happen to love different cultures, so postcrossing is an ideal hobby for me. I used to be a busy postcrosser few years ago, sending and receiving almost hundred cards, but I wanted to make a new, frest start with a new account. I wanted to start without the old stats ghosting in there.

I don't collect any specific kind of postcards, but I have a few wishes that would make me truly love your card. If possible, I'd like to receive cards without an envelope. I collect the postmarks and stamps too, and I'm really bad at keeping the envelopes safe. I have so much paper things in my table that I manage to trash those without even thinking.

My other wishes consern the picture. I do postcrossing to learn and discover about different cultures, so I'd hope your card would somehow describe your country or culture. It can be anything... a landscape or some historical landmark, art or architecture, a performance or an event like theater, dance, parade or a some local event, anything regarding religion, people, traditional costumes... Just send me something you like to show from your country.

Additionally, if you want to make me really really love your card, I'd prefer a single view picture. I just think that one picture is so much more powerful and beautiful than a one with several miniscule photos.

I hope I didn't limit your creativity with my wishes, I just personally like having something to help finding a perfect postcard (and searching for a card that recipient would truly like is one of my favourite things in post-crossing).

See you, and enjoy postcrossing
