Hi, my name is Elena!

I’m a PhD student of the Ioffe Physical-Technical Institute and I study semiconductor materials and nanostructures using the radiospectroscopy methods.
I live with my husband and our cat named “The Cat”. He is very lazy and fluffy.
I live in Saint Petersburg, which is known for its white nights, drawbridges, architecture and people’s emotions - most of our citizens are so moody and unsmiling.

I like traveling, reading detective stories, listening different music, spending my free time in small cafes with a cup of coffee. My brother and I travel a lot and we have a nice tradition of exchanging postcards from those cities where we were.
