About Simone...

Hi, I am a 47 year old mother of two. Jasper is a 10 years old boy and Lara is a 8 years old girl. They are both postcrossers as well.

I like cooking and baking, reading, scuba diving and travelling. What I like most about cooking is creating jams/jellies/chutneys and so on. I also collect recipes with zucchini.

I adore my kids and our three cats.

Despite the fact that e-mail is very easy, I love to receive 'old-fashioned' paper mail. The more colourful the better.

I hope for cards with prints or pictures that make me feel happy or with humour. I also really like cards with food on it or food related cards. And if you think that you have a real good recipe that you like to share with me (not necessarily about the above mentioned) you make my day! ;-).
If you do not have enough space on your postcard to write the recipe you can mail it in an envelope, with or without a postcard. As long as you put the ID number on it, it is still postcrossing... And you make me really happy. I have received several recipes by now and I am thrilled about it. I am hoping for many more....

Scrolling through the cards on postcrossing I realised that I really like old fashioned advertising cards as well as black and white cards.

I am redecorating my livingroom at the moment so I would love to receive cards in pink or orange or black and white.

For the people from Finland: I absolutely adore Kaj Stenvall cards. They are gorgeous. So that kind of cards are more than welcome. In case you could send me one....I am going to create something with these cards.

I am not to fond of cityview cards but I do like the landscapeview ones.

If you have no recipe to share with me I would love to hear what your favourite city in the world is and why. Or what has been the best book/novel you've ever read and the reason why. Or just write something....not just 'happy postcrossing'.....

If there are any American postcrossers that can spare a quarter...please look at my sons profile (appelflap) as he is missing quite some quarters in his book.

Enjoy writing your cards and receiving nice cards and words in return!
