I am Maria, a thirty-something woman from Finland. I live in Rovaniemi, Lapland, few minutes from arctic circle and Santa Claus. My family includes a husband, three year old son and two borderterriers. I love to travel, there is still lot to see in the world. I also am passionate about food, I guess I live to eat. Spending time out in the Nature is important to me. Before we had our son, we used to spent at least one week/summer in the woods with my husband. When i have time, i like to do things with my hands: knit, sew, make silver jewellery etc. I play guitar, and lately started learning Ukulele. Rest of my time i spend with books (or TV, when feeling lazy)

I love all postcards telling something about the sender or the place the card is coming from. All things beautiful or funny make me happy as well.
