Hi all! I'm so excited to have joined you.

Born and bred in Toronto, I'm 52 with one son who has now flown the coop. Guess that makes me an empty nester. Well, I do have 3 cats still!

I love the city but sometimes can't wait to escape. I love to just drive wherever my inclination takes me outside of the hustle and bustle, discovering small towns, antique shops, farmers markets and wide open spaces. I always take my camera with me snapping shots of rustic barns, fallen trees or anything quirky that catches my eye.

I work in strategy and research to pay the bills, but my first love is art in all its forms. Architecture, fashion, design, visual arts, photography, sculpture. Some of my favourites are:

I'm also a bit of a news junky. Politics, current affairs, economics, tech news....I use it a lot for my work but I think I am naturally curious about the world around me.

One thing most people don't know about me is my love for airports. Besides from watching the planes fly in and out, there is something magical about this transitory space where ife in all its emotions is felt among the arrival and departure zones - love, happiness, sadness, joy, mended and broken hearts.
