Hello,

My name is Tom and I am a student pilot from Australia!

I have always enjoyed the creative freedom but also the limits a postcard provides as a medium, this all grew from a love of stamps and sending unique letters and postcards to my grandmother from Europe and then looking at all the beautiful cards laid out on a table!
Once a year at Christmas I sit down on the steps of Melbourne's General Post Office and write Christmas cards to my friends then and there, this year I hope to also send some postcards on that day out!

Feel free to use your imagination, add some colour, try and make the postman smile when he delivers it in his red Mitsubishi!

Happy to receive any postcard you send, but bonus points for taking the consideration to put a nice stamp on it or to send an aviation or automotive related picture or postcard! A hobby of mine in a similarly old fashioned form like snail mail is film photography, as you're never quite sure what you'll get at the end much like postcards from strangers! Also happy to do direct swaps on request!

I also speak fluent Indonesian having studied both here in Australia and at a university in Yogyakarta so if you are sending from Indonesia (or Malaysia) feel free to write in Indonesian or Malay!

Also don't be alarmed that posting to here is slow, that's normal and not helped by the pandemic. Hopefully it shall speed back up again! Please don't message me to register your postcards, be patient or you will simply be ignored. No one likes a ruined surprise. :)
