Hi! I'm Pihla. I'm 30 years old and live in Finland's capital city, Helsinki. Me, my boyfriend, and our two cats just moved to a new flat about 30 minutes from city center. We live next to a lovely forest, but still have city around us. I like that Helsinki is a very green city. There are trees in most places and also the sea is always near.

I'm a musician. At the moment I study folk music in an art university, and I also teach violin to young students. I love playing and jamming with other people, and also compose my own tunes and songs. My favourite thing in music is improvisation. I love to improvise with a picture as an inspiration - postcards are good with that! Music's also a lovely way to communicate and connect with other people.

Besides music I love reading, libraries and books. I don't have a favourite book because it's so hard to pick just one, but at the moment I've really enjoyed for example A. S. Byatt's works.

I like postcards with pictures of musicians or instruments in them, or postcards about local culture. Pictures with people in them, photography and art are also interesting to me. Colourful or black and white, anything goes. And of course anything you want to send I'm happy to recieve!
