About Petra...

Hi,
My name is Petra and I live in The Netherlands. I'm happily married, have two lovely daughters (17 and 13) and a silly cat. I'm a dietician/communications officer.

I'm fond of baking and cooking, chocolate, flea markets, geocaching and reading books. My favorite color is blue. I adore France, and especially Paris. I love postcards, to receive ánd to send!

If you wonder what to send me, here are some of my preferences:
* Anything that has to do with food, kitchen stuff or recipes
* Chocolate, macarons (<3!!), cupcakes, cookies, sweets
* Coffee or tea
* Nostalgic/black and white/vintagelike postcards
* Books/children's books illustrations
* Bookmarks (why not send one 'disguised as a postcard'! I know it works :D)
* Old letters/handwritings
* Post- and letterboxes
* 'Old'/nostalgic ad cards
* Stones/fossiles/seashells
* Lighthouses
* Beachhouses
* Or cards that make you smile, happy or mean something to you. Surprise me and tell me the story behind your postcard!
You can also check out my favorites to get a clue: http://bit.ly/nXZ8pM!

And yes... the back of a postcard is also important for me. The more writing, the better. Quotes, thoughts, things you love or hate, what your plans are for the day or evening... everything is more than welcome. If you are a 'foody', please tell me about your favorite food, your breakfast/lunch or supper or your special recipe.
Do you prefer little drawings/doodles? Nice too <3!
You can make me very happy with little 'surprises' on or with the postcard: e.g. stamps, stickers, tape, scraps of newspaper, little tickets, recipes, etc.

But don't you worry too much after reading all this.... in fact I'm happy with every card that lands in my letterbox.

Groetjes,
Petra
