Dear reader,

I live in the beautiful town Rotenburg (Wümme) in Germany since 2007.

My hobbies are reading books especially comic books. In the horror genre my favorites are E. A. Poe and H. P. Lovecraft. I don't like reading books with too brutal scenes. I also read books about buddhism whose methods and "rules" I am integrating into my life.

I am a vegatarian on the way to veganism. I try to treat animals like equal beeings - since we are all earthlings. I feel the pain when animals are hurt by people the same as when people are hurt by people. (By animals I mean insects, too.)

Most of the time I sit in front of a computer I am at work. At home I am reading different news and playing all kind of games on computer or console (but no war games). My favourite games are from From Software: Dark Souls and Bloodborne. There was a time I didn't thought I'd play a game three times completely and counting.
My favorite band is Nine Inch Nails who I am eager to see live for the first time. But I am listening much of the music of the 60s and 70s (Beatles, The Doors, Cleerence Clearwater Revival etc.). Here and then I prefer silence.
I like every kind of movies (except splatter and too brutal horror movies). My favorite movies are Star Wars, Batmans return, 2001: a space odysee, Planet of the apes, Gone Girl, Mad Max, Edward Scissorhands and Scott Pilgrim vs. the world (of course). When it is not a movie it is a series like the X-Files, How I Met Your Mother, South Park or the Walking Dead, that gets my attention.

After I realised how great Star Trek is I am a big fan. I started at the beginning watching the first TV series and am now under command of Captain Picard.

I'd like to speak spanish (just for fun) but time wouldn't allow me to learn that beautiful language. But at least I started a bit.

I am also attracted to "sports". As a child I watched a lot of WWE shows. And since late 2013 I do again and watch at least every week Monday Night Raw. Some of my oldest memories are me and my brothers watching wrestling on TV. Beside that I love watching UFC fights from time to time. I also like Baseball (Oakland Athletics) but it is not as easy as american football to watch in Germany.

As you can see I am a man with a lot different interests. Trying to find the right way.

I would appreciate if you'd send me a postcard that match any of my interests or just one you think is awesome. Actually I don't care what kind of card I get when I get one. ;)
